Brazil, extreme center
Brazil is a country with an ideological spectrum characterized since the first settlers or captains of the captaincies as extremely moderate, politically positioned as extreme center.
To explain this extreme center characteristic we need to turn to famous political scientists who speak of the moderate character of Brazilian politics, called conciliatory character, which always aborts radical revolutions through moderate and gradual reforms, as advocated by: Fausto, Fernando H, Sérgio Buarque, Álvaro Martins, Weffort.
That is why it would be tiring and time-consuming to justify this, but the elites always anticipate revolts and end up compromising among themselves to meet popular demands, emptying radical discourses.
