Brazilian priorities
The ardent nationalists always shout that Brazil needs to stand out among nations and, to do so, it needs to imitate the model of the most powerful countries on earth. This means a series of parameters that must be stubbornly met, as if they were the ISO indicators of absolute or relative development.
Our atomic bomb comes first.
Okay, who wouldn't want Brazil to have an arsenal of nuclear weapons?
To spend so many years, so many brains and so much money and material resources to acquire a stockpile of nuclear weapons, we would need to choose a target that would justify this undertaking.
Who could Brazil launch its future nuclear weapons at?
The only country that poses a serious imminent and permanent threat to Brazil's sovereignty is precisely its greatest ally, which, by the way, has been involved in all current conflicts in the world since 1824, waging more than 220 wars and interventions with more than 970 military bases in 97 countries in the world, with more than 2,000 real estate installations in Iraq alone, with 120 air bases in Germany, with 119 air bases in Okinawa, Japan, overthrowing governments, bribing authorities, creating political operations and NGOs to interact with the internal politics of more than 190 countries, has destroyed entire nations in the last 30 years, keeps its allies always weakly in an inferior position militarily and economically, treats its enemies with total isolation, does not comply with agreements and determinations of multilateral organizations when it does not favor them, treats its non-aligned coreligionists with disdain almost as enemies and international pariahs, has an unbeatable omnipresent media soft power without equal in the universe, dominates the media completely and creates patterns of political and economic behavior. controls the flow of financial capital and the main technologies in the world, so the nuclear arsenal for Brazil makes no practical sense except to serve as a strategic target.
Possessing nuclear weapons served as a deterrent to the possibility of wars between the USA and the USSR.
But who said they made that stockpile of 22,000 nuclear and atomic weapons to be used?
Wrong; nuclear weapons are dirty, after being launched on enemies the aggressors could not immediately occupy the enemy's territory because of the nuclear waste and destruction, there would be no use in the contaminated waters, the contaminated oil, the contaminated gold, the plants and animals contaminated for many decades. Nuclear weapons are like a sophisticated feces bomb, they dirty everything. Where you launch them you cannot step there.
Mutually assured nuclear retaliation in a hypothetical nuclear war between two nuclear countries appeared as a convincing political hypothesis during the Cold War, to maintain peace, but physicists and engineers cannot guarantee that once the war has started the bombs would be able to function properly, because the bombs have electronic and electrical circuits that could be neutralized by the explosions of bombs previously dropped on the territory and could annihilate or render useless other bombs dropped nearby. Furthermore, missiles and aircraft could be rendered useless by the secondary effects of radiation, dirt and heat from the residues of the first explosions, not to mention that those responsible for the subsequent launches could be stunned by madness or paralyzed by the psychological state of shock, due to the completely irrational consequences of surviving an atomic apocalypse without cities and without the surviving infrastructure services, water, energy, fuel, medical services, trade, logistics, medicine, food and labor.
The simple invasion of a territory like the Amazon would be such a great advantage that even without asking for help, the Chinese, Russians and Indians would immediately come to obtain their piece of the Amazon if NATO invaded that piece of land. This prevents the USA from trying to take over the Amazon or Africa, or Cuba, or the world's oceanic straits or the countries with large oil basins. They will always be international and militarily neutral. Attempts such as creating a police state in the Middle East that is allied with NATO, such as Israel, are proving to be an illusion, like the Berlin Wall, the Warsaw Pact, NATO and all attempts to surround and isolate potential competitors, as well as to keep South America disarmed. Brazil's greatest weapon is its potential to lean towards any of the geopolitical sides, and Brazil is an extremely central country, with India and Africa, Switzerland, as Ukraine should be. But its mentors, the same ones who created the state of Israel, continue in their militaristic, separatist, factional delusions. The proof of this is that even during the war, During World War II, Germany and Japan continued to buy oil from Western companies EXXON, BP, Standard Oil and after the creation of the Iron Curtain
