The human species has always looked to the skies in hopes of finding a fantasy of a powerful and gentle non-human entity capable of protecting and threatening us with its super human power, like the superheroes of Marvel or Greek mythology, we have always imagined that we are inferiors in the universe super inhabited by civilizations and powerful angels that somehow are the trustees of the universal order.

The greatest danger of this obsession to find a new alien race always hides the consequences for our own survival because in our secret fantasy aliens will always be our salvation from ourselves even without caring that the earth itself is a threat to survival of our species, with its monsters of many dimensions and many natural and anthropic situations and circumstances that relentlessly threaten our existence.

We are always surrounded by dangers to our extinction as a species, from the threat of nuclear war, to the CV19 virus, to Ebola, smallpox, earthquakes, volcanism, comets rushing into the solar system, global warming, glaciation, poisonous snakes, sharks and orcas. assassins, lions, rhinos, giant crocodiles, malaria and dengue mosquitoes, chikungunya and zika, cholera, leprosy, in short, the dangers we overcome when we invented the bow and arrow, but as on earth other species of unknown viruses can come from alien space, that's why astronauts who were on the moon were quarantined for long days so as not to contaminate earthlings.

AI technology threatening our humanity's security because of the threat of being dismissed by technology and being discarded or enslaved by it.

The threats of a civilization superior to our own technology, because they managed to find us here on earth while we cannot contact other civilizations.

We are anxious for a contact with ETs but without the precautions of contamination with other dangers as we do the lockdown because of the CV we do not have the same fear of a first degree contact, on the contrary, we are innocently anxious for contacts without any precaution of that contamination by a different DNA could cause, without thinking that our atmosphere and our water could cause to a species different from ours, none of this worries us in our ideology and religious and philosophical belief that a contact with an alien could be so innocent as was the discovery of America, which by the way, almost decimated the indigenous populations with the flu and syphilis innocently spread among populations that did not have the natural antibodies to adapt to the new environment brought from another isolated civilization on the other side of the world.
