It's the end of NATO.

NATO was challenged because one of its members was invaded and NATO did nothing to save Ukraine.

Ukraine is as much a part of NATO as France or Germany, as it participates in all activities like any other NATO member. Ukraine receives soldiers from NATO, receives any kind of weaponry, receives training from NATO, shares military and political information with NATO.

So NATO was challenged in Ukraine by Russia, it was invaded and NATO soldiers didn't show up and those famous challenge flights 12km from Russia's border disappeared, navigation in the bordering Black Sea and Mediterranean seas that are part of the right of US navigation disappeared, submarines challenged and were chased off Russia's shores.

Where is NATO to help one of its members?

Everyone watched the end of the North Atlantic alliance, out of cowardice and fear of a nuclear attack by Russia, simply because NATO was signed to face a war without atomic weapons, without hypersonic missiles, without torpedoes, nuclear drones with 50 megaton warheads, without the Buerevestinik version of atomic-powered flying drones, without hypersonic intercontinental missile-launched gliders that make conventional non-ballistic flight, are not prepared to face a fleet of stealth intercontinental missile-launching submarines, so NATO was ill-prepared precisely to face the Russia and the will of an enemy to skip the 5 million NATO soldiers, the 10,000 NATO planes, the 900 NATO ships, the 20 NATO aircraft carriers and launch another type of war strategy, technologically scrapping the war strategy Convention for NATO prepared.
