What they didn't tell you about the Russian embargo

Europe receives around 510 billion cubic meters of gas a year from all external sources.

When you were told that the Nordstream II pipeline would never pump gas to Germany it would receive Russian gas leaving Russia with no more inflows of billions of US dollars.

The share of gas, but not all of the gas, consumed by Germany would be supplied via US-produced liquefied gas tankers and would make the US the world's largest producer of energy and the world's largest supplier of fossil energy in the world.

For this to work, Russia could not be left out, after all, it would be a complementary part of what was already supplied by the current system, because the US cannot supply all the gas needed for Germany and Europe.

Why not combine this in the OPEC of gases, as is done in the OPEC of oil?

Because shale gas is much more expensive than natural gas, and naturally, displacing natural gas buyers from Russia would not be accepted by consumers unless they are left with no alternative source of gas.

So the maneuver was to prevent only Nordstream II from going into operation, and so, with the other sources of supply, American shale gas could be fully placed in Germany, but it needed the Russians to supplement with their gas, without the gas from Nordestream II, without agreeing with the Russians, who would never accept this, so a comedian artist enters the scene to stage a war that didn't work out.

To replace part of the gas, Putin did not accept the blockade of Nordstream II and realized that he would have to show the EU that without the Russians' part, it is useless to buy gas from the USA, because of the accounts that do not close, as they are 510 billion meters cubic meters of gas per year, and if each gas ship takes only 100,000 cubic meters of gas per trip, with the round trip taking 20 days, 160,000 non-existent gas ships would be needed, which would take tens of years to be completed. built, with a logistics of ports with arrival and departure stations that does not exist.

We are now at an impasse because either you take the Nordstram II or you don't take anything.
